Facts About Brain Cancer

Brain Cancer is one of the most fatal diseases to exit in human kind and people do not respond to its symptoms immediately until its too late. Brain Cancer occurs when one of the brain cells grow abnormally leaving no room for healthy cells. In some cases, it occurs when a different organ is affected and it metastasize to the brain.

As to what causes it, it is still a mystery and it can occur from inheritance. If one of the family member had it, chances are others might develop it in time. That is why it is important to familiarize ourselves with the signs and symptoms before it ascends to fatal stages. Some of the common symptoms are as follows:

»Difficulty in walking
»Change in vision
»Change in mood,Speech, Personality, behaviour and metal abilities(Writing, Reading)
»Loss of memory

Those are the symptoms that need immediate attention. Do not waste time, because every second counts with cancer and its a rather save than sorry situation. Of course there is treatment, but it varies depending on the stages and on which brain cells are affected. They are commonly detected by a Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) and Computerised Axial Tomography(CAT) scans.

Treatment can be from surgery to chemotheraphy. There are prevention measures like regular check ups , exercise and healthy food. They do not necessarily stop it, they just lower risks by strengthening the immune system. These should be taken seriously and with caution. Who knows, you might save a life.
