Can you hear the sirens nearing in? Well, it is the New Kid On The Block, Sfiso Khumalo aka Alto. He is piercing through the music circuit with his DJ Phonetic assisted debut single titled ‘AmaBlesser’.
The house track is infused with synths, melodies and catchy lyrics that will definitely lure everyone to the dance floor this festive season. Alto‘s aim is to make people blithe while having a jol. “AmaBlesser” is basically a song written to put people in a party mood and also, to introduce me to the house realm,” he said.
The singer/songwriter/record-producer has laid down the vocals on the chorus while his cohort, DJ Phonetic took on the verses. The track is radio-friendly and it is destined to be a smash and propel him to his dreams.
According to Alto he co-wrote the song with DJ Phonetic with each writing down their parts of the song. “Trends are significant to the masses and what better way to put it in a song and have fun with it. However, I would also like to contribute to the house music society and inspire people across all generations,” he continued.
Alto’s yet-to-be-titled debut album is slated for release next year and ‘AmaBlesser’ won’t be featured on it. However, the latter is available for download here. You can also follow him on his Facebook page. Let’s indulge and support these artists.
KM Events Management is launching a Talent Show Competition in Ga-Rankuwa, Zone 1 Community Hall. The project is aimed at keeping the Tshwane West District high school learners off the unhealthy habit of alcohol abuse during the end of each school term by engaging them in extramural activities that will show off their capabilities.
The founder of KM Events Management, Kagiso Moatshe said that learners need a healthy and safe environment which will keep them away from alcohol and be more in-touch with their creativity. “During the end of
school terms, learners tend to throw ‘pens down’ parties where they end up indulging themselves in alcohol and such behaviour can have detrimental consequences for them,” said Moatshe.
Moatshe further said that learners need to be competitive in a creative way whilst learning from each other. “Learners will be competing and motivating each other to be more creative and give themselves a platform to gain reputation and be noticed by industry’s best. The venue is going to be controlled to avoid any harm that might occur to these learners” he continued.
The talent show will require high school learners to show off their singing, dancing, poetry, rapping and any other talent they have. The competition will have a panel of judges who will unanimously crown the best out of the best and the top 3 participants will receive a cash prize and gadgets. There will also be a line-up of well-known artists to captivate the audience. Moatshe, who is organising the event is urging learners to participate and be part of this positive movement. He promises good music, fun, and ordinary people with extraordinary talent.
The talent show competition will be held on the 30th September. For more information regarding ticket sales and the competition in general, feel free to contact Kagiso Moatshe on 076 606 1397 or just send an email to email@example.com
We Good Entertainment and Band Camp virtuoso, Gonz!, is preparing to release his new single, ‘Parental Advisory’. The track will see the light of day on the 18th November.
Gonz!‘s blazing song, ‘Tight Circle‘ was featured on Inner Circle: Mixtape Vol. 1 and he also released an inspiring track with his cohort, Tru Werdz called ‘Do Better’ which was in conjunction with Believe in Newark Foundation. Now he is currently building momentum on his forthcoming EP titled ‘CLASSIFIED‘, slated for release in 2016.
Looking forward to it.
Fleur East‘s much anticipated debut single, ‘Sax’ has hit the digital retailers on Friday and how is it? Find out after the jump.
YES! YES! and YES! Fleur has done it. The song is fresh, funky, huge and definitely dance floor ready. The anthem is laced with heavy synths and the incredible saxophone breakdown on the chorus. The lyrics are brilliant and the metaphor used makes the song ridiculously amazing.
The song sees the X Factor runner-up rap during the verses until the song builds up into a massive pre-chorus. The transition is just crazy. The brassy chorus just takes it to a whole new level. It is catchy and it stucks in your mind. Although you can tell it is a sister to Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars’ smash hit, ‘Uptown Funk‘, but ‘Sax’ absolutely holds its own. This is one of the best debut singles ever to emerge from any X Factor alumni.
Currently, the song shot straight to top 5 on the UK iTunes Chart and she is set to perform it on the X Factor stage tonight. Hopefully, the performance will help the song generate sales even more. SMASH!!!
‘Sax’ is taken from Fleur East’s debut album, ‘Love, Sax and Flashbacks‘ set for release on the 4th December.
Finally. It is almost here. Fleur East has officially announced the title of her debut single, “Sax“. This comes after she was a runner-up to Ben Haenow on last year’s season of The X Factor UK.
The pop stunner will release the single under Syco Music, which is part of the Sony. The song has been produced by Electric (responsible for Little Mix recent smash, “Black Magic”) and it will hit digital retailers on the 23 October.
When she was a contestant on the X Factor, the sassy singer performed Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars‘ “Uptown Funk” and her performance rocked up to #1 on UK iTunes, making her the first contestant in history of the show to achieve such feat.
Normally, X Factor alums deliver with their debut singles and eventually smashing up the charts. I hope Fleur will enjoy the same fate as her X Factor predecessors. I personally think she will smash.
You can pre-order the single here.
“Sax” serves as the first single taken off Fleur East‘s yet-to-be-titled debut album. In case you missed it, watch her “Uptown Funk” performance after the jump.
They say music connects to every situation in the world and that is what the We Good Entertainment crew is stirring to assist the community of Newark, New Jersey. The latter has released a song featuring members from the clique, Gonz! and Tru Werdz, simply titled ‘Do Better’. In conjunction with Believe in Newark Foundation, We Good Ent team is raising awareness of the gangs and violence occurring in the area.
They are also assisting in youth development, improving literacy and providing better opportunities. The song, ‘Do Better’ is an inspirational song which highlights the challenges faced by the community. It is well written, it has a commercial appeal and the melody just flows effortlessly. They did a fantastic job.
The accompanying visual is just as great. Tru Werdz and Gonz! really delivered an empowering anthem that hits home. ‘Do Better’ is available on digital retailers and all the proceeds will go to Believe in Newark Foundation. “Because It starts from the root and that’s us.We gotta do better ’cause we know better”. Powerful stuff.
Hats off also to Believe in Newark Foundation. If it was not for them, none of this amazing work would be happening in the first place.

The Leona Lewis era is about to launch as details about her new effort have been revealed. The new Island Records artist is set to release her first album under her new label. The album cover surfaced and she looks stunning and you can tell she is in a better space now.
The LP is titled, ‘I AM’ and it will be preceded by the single, ‘Fire (Under My Feet)’. The latter will hit digital stores on the 21st June. Leona held an intimate performance session in the UK where she belted five of her new songs and she got amazing reviews from Media. I must say, I am excited for this new project. It looks like Leona is not playing around. Let us see if the new label will bring Leona’s best to the world.
In other related news:
Leona took to her Instagram account and posted herself in a Def Jam sweater. We are guessing it’s a confirmation that she has signed a lucrative deal with the label for the State side domination. Could this be a comeback we all have been waiting for? Bring it on, Leona.
In January, the world witnessed the pop Princess officially launching her long-awaited 8th era. The latter was lead by the single ‘Four Five Seconds’ featuring rapper, Kanye West and Paul McCartney and knowing Rihanna’s past lead single catalog, this is very disappointing. At first, I thought the song is a grower, but it just doesn’t do it. I do admit that it charted well, but Rihanna’s leads smash charts left, right and centre. Unfortunately, this did not measure up to its predecessors.
The Umbrella-singer moved on and launched her second single, ‘B*tch Better Have My Money’ which I think its worse than the lead. It did smash the iTunes chart, ranking #1 in the US within minutes upon its release. But its no surprise because Rih can sell the hell out a single.
I am not sure which direction she is trying to take, but I am worried. I get that her recent singles are not ‘commercial’ but neither was ‘Rated R‘ but it had the most amazing songs ever to be recorded in her career. I hope she has amazing songs to release because these aren’t cutting the cookie. Check the songs out after the jump.
Sentle Lehoko has much cause to celebrate as he was announced as the new host for The Romantic Repertoire. After Eddie Zondi passed on, Thami Ngubeni‘s ‘The Sacred Space“, Wilson B Nkosi‘s ‘Sounds and Stuff Like That’ and Paul Mtirara‘s ‘The Chill Factor‘ had a four hour show. All three of them had an extra hour from Eddie’s three hour show.
The programming is now back to normal as he is part of the Love Movement with Paul and Wilson. The Romantic Repertoire airs on the 2nd November between 15h00 – 18h00. I couldn’t be happier with Metro FM’s choice. Sentle is perfect and his voice is very well suited for a chilled Sunday afternoon. I simply cannot wait. He has a big task ahead of him, though. Eddie was a Legend. No pressure whatsoever. Good Luck to him.
He is currently hosting The Private Line on the same station from Mondays to Fridays, 00h00 – 03h00.
X Factor UK champ has unveiled artwork for her repackaged album, The Power of Love. The album will include five additional brand new tracks. Three are Christmas-theme tracks, the festive version of the original track, “Treasure” and ‘With You’ taken from Ghost – The Musical.
She looks stunning and I hope the new songs are just as good as the main edition of the album. “Treasure” is definitely one of the best songs on the album and the alternate version better not ruin it. She could at least add a choir and make it BIG.. Wishful thinking, right?
The album is her debut after winning the tenth Season of the X Factor and it debuted atop of the UK Albums Chart with 72 644 copies sold in its first week. It is marked UK’s fastest selling album by a female artist this year. ‘The Power of Love – The Gift Edition” hits the stores on 8th December.
Peep the list of new track below.
‘O Holy Night’
‘Please Come Home for Christmas’
Festive version of ‘Treasure’
My jaw dropped after watching tonight’s episode of our own version of Idols. The performances were on a different level and it actually went up a notch from previous seasons. The contestants were celebrating 20 Years of Democracy and they had chosen songs from the year 1994.
All the contestants did an amazing job and it was enjoyable. Lize’s rendition of Boy II Men‘s “I’ll Make Love To You” was a killer. She served everything and what was interesting is, she did it so effortlessly and without breaking a sweat. Incredible. Tumi took on Gloria Estefan’s “Turn The Beat Around” and she annihilated the stage. She can really sing and her stage presence was flawless. She made me feel like going out and party up a storm.
Vincent B went on an R&B turn with Tevin Campbell‘s “Can We Talk” and as usual, it was solid. Musa‘s song choice was the most intriguing. He chose Yousso N’Dour‘s “7 Seconds” and it was great. Musa is a musician, PERIOD. He can deliver a song like no one. Bongi‘s “Breathe Again” by Toni Braxton was also great, but she could have done better. Demi Lee and Kyle fell a little flat for me. Their performances are not stuck with me.
I am really happy with the standards of this season. After watching the
X Factor SA other reality show, I almost got worried.
I will update the post once the performances are uploaded on youtube.
Finally, Nicole is heading to South Africa. Africa News Network 7(ANN7) has announced that the international superstar, Nicole Scherzinger will be one of the artists to perform at the inaugural of the South African of The Year Awards(SATY). She will be joined by the country’s own music titans such as Zahara, Lira, MICASA, Mafikizolo and Junior Mabaso.
The ceremony will take place on September 6 at the Saxon Hotel in Sandhurst, Johannesburg. The awards are mainly about celebrating extraordinary people who have made a difference in the lives of ordinary people.
I am glad they went with Nicole as the headliner for this event. Though she has been around for a while, it is still good to see South Africa going for a more fresh approach. Yes, she may not be on the same star power as Beyonce or Rihanna, but we all know Nicole is one hell of a vocal powerhouse and she can kill the stage. I wonder which song(s) she will perform. I am rooting for ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’(excuse the pun), but we shall see.
Now, where can a guy get a ticket?
The Categories are as follow:

After her moderate successful single. ‘Your Love’, former Pussycat Doll served up her follow-up single, ‘On The Rocks’. The single was produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream and well, It is a let down.
The song starts off with piano riffs followed by Nicole’s crystal clear vocals on the melody-less verses and builds into an infectious chorus(which is the song’s saving grace). The bridge is auto-tuned and it takes the song’s credibility. The verses and bridge are just flat and disappointing. Nothing special or WOW about this song.
This makes me wonder how the album’s direction is. If ‘Your Love’ and ‘On The Rocks’ are the best from the album, then Nicole better say bye to her ill-fated solo career. I still don’t get how they always get it wrong with Nicole. If Tricky and The Dream produced Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ and Mariah’ Carey’s ‘Touch My Body’, How can they serve this?
Nicole is immensely talented and marketable, but her music is always and I mean always sub-par (with exception to ‘Whatever U Like’ and Don’t Hold Your Breath) and it is dragging her even further from the charts. If it were up to me, I would scrap the single or at least alter it, but Oh, Well. ‘On The Rocks’ is being released Worldwide on September 15 and UK on October 12. The latter is lifted from Nicole Scherzinger’s yet-to-be-titled album due this fall.
You can listen to the song below.
Today, South Africa has lost its radio icon, Eddie Zondi. The South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC) announced the news a few hours ago.
He is popularly known for his 3pm – 6pm Sunday show, The Romantic Repertoire on Metro FM. Eddie took South Africa on a very soulful journey throughout the years and I know it felt like a custom to his loyal fans to listen to his show on every Sunday afternoon.
He was truly a remarkable man, a legend in his own right and he will remembered for his distinctive voice and impeccable show. Sundays will never be the same.
R.I.P Eddie Makhosonke Zondi
Nicole Scherzinger just debuted her new single, ‘Your Love’ . The single is her first release as a SONY artist and it’s a BANGER.
The cut was produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. ‘Your Love’ is an urban-pop record infused with house synths. A total different take for Nicole since her solo venture.
The verses are really sexy and airy, reminding us of her Pussycat Dolls days. The pre-chorus is absolutely infectious, but I do find the chorus a bit annoying. I feel the “rutututudododos” are just flat and unnecessary, though they make the song insanely catchy. Then there comes the trumpets, making the song sound different and very ’90s.
The bridge and the breakdown are the song’s saving grace. She totally nailed it. The instrument transition makes the song different from what is currently on radios. I was actually hoping for a more urban song, but I guess this one will do for now.
According to Just Jared, the song will see a U.S release on the 2nd June and later UK, 13th July. Will this help Nicole bag a hit she desperately needs to take her to worldwide stardom she deserves? So far, it’s getting great reviews from Billboard and Time Magazine.
‘Your Love’ is lifted from Nicole’s forthcoming yet-to-titled-album. Check out the song below.
RCA’s new artist is ready to launch a new era and it looks like it’s in full swing. After numerous pictures of her music video shoot surfaced online, Nicole Scherzinger confirmed her return to the music with her brand new single, “Your Love”.
The single will premiere on the 29th May and will be released to digital retails on the 13th July. The label has launched a countdown on Nicole’s official website to keep the buzz alight. My friends at Pop Justice got the privilege to hear and review the song. According to Pop Justice, Nicole has a winner on her hands. This made me anticipate it a lot more. They have previously reviewed her #1 hit single, “Don’t Hold Your Breath” and it turned out alright.
She has worked with Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, who both produced mega-hits for the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna and Mariah Carey.
In an interview with Digital Spy, She said: “I had to make this whole album with it just being the three of us. For the first time in my career I feel like this album is me, it’s real. It’s a very personal album for me”
“It is a reflection of the woman I am, the woman I am not and the woman I want to be” She explained.
Could this finally be the time we have all been waiting for? Could this era helm Nicole to be a household name she deserves to be? We’ll have to wait and see. “Your Love” is lifted from Scherzinger’s forthcoming yet-to-be-titled studio album.
Have you ever been told that you are the most amazing person in the world? I bet you have and you are. In life, we go through so much that we end up with self-doubt and low self-esteem. It does not matter who you are or where you from, insecurities do get the best of us.
Holding on to the past can put your future in misery. Yes, hurt is inevitable but that does not mean you have to sell yourself short of something that could possibly be the best thing in your life. That is not fair to you or anyone involved.
Insecurities make you feel like you are suffocating in your own sorrows and you just don’t know how to breakthrough from it. You pray so hard for strength and guidance, but moments later you still feel unsure. A never ending dark tunnel. You start to lose hope in love and the moment it comes your way, you try by all means to sabotage it. It’s more like “It’s better if I end it before he/she does, that way, it will hurt less” or maybe “There are better looking and more educated people than me, why would she/he choose me? She/he deserves better’. What’s worse is, we keep looking for something that isn’t there at all. Our brains become so conformed to a point where delusion seems normal.
You find your heart and mind always racing with all sorts of fear and not knowing what to do or how to confront them. You do know for a fact that you are loved, but sometimes you wonder if the same events will occur and leave you in pieces for Wolves to feast on.
Identifying the root of the problem is hard and it is the only way you can get past this. Many of us think being clingy or obsessed with your partner strengthens the relationship or makes a clear indication that you belong together. I have learned myself that it does not. It just pushes them away because they see lack of trust, independence and confidence.
That is why communicating is so important. Holding on to such hell will lead to self-destruction and it can have long term effects.
The most valuable lesson I have learned is, LOVE YOURSELF first. The future is uncertain. When you love someone, give it your all. That is something I have been struggling with myself and I know most of you have too. Nobody is perfect. We all have our flaws and all. However, we are perfect for the heart that’s meant for us.
She was a powerful tidal wave and nothing could stop her from her reigning chart throne. Mariah Carey‘s “One Sweet Day” made an amazing chart impact in the US, making Carey the only artist to have the Longest Running #1 Single in the Billboard Chart History.
The Boyz II Men assisted cut was released in November, 1995 and went on to debut at the top of the chart. The latter was voted the best collaboration of All-Time on Rolling Stone’s poll. However, in spite of the song’s successful chart run, it did not win any Grammy award and left the publics’ tongues wagging.
In a good spin of things, it has been two Decades since the song was released and it seems like it will not be dethroned anytime soon. Her career peak was truly remarkable. The Queen of the whistle register. No matter how her latest singles may tank on the charts, her legacy and legendary status remain intact. The song is lifted from Carey’s Diamond certified album, “Daydream”.
Listen to the song after the jump.
After her last effort tanked on the charts, vocal prowess makes a come back with a powerful ballad from her forthcoming album. ‘Where Do Hearts Go?’ is a beautiful love song and Alexandra did an amazing job with it. The lyrics are just alluring and the chorus is uplifting and the melody is subtle, allowing Alex to pull off her powerful vocals.“I see the light, my wings will fly. I know my heart will breathe again for you. One day, our love will smile again.” As she belts. Absolutely amazing.
However, I hope this is not her official single. It’s way too long to be a single and ballads hardly do well on the charts. She really needs a stronger single to breakthrough the ‘Heartbreak On Hold’ pattern. Alexandra has it to murder the charts, but she needs the right people behind her and obliterating material.
Alexandra announced that she is the ambassador of Well Child Charity and part of the proceeds from the song will be donated to the charity.
‘Where Do Hearts Go?’ is available on iTunes. You can listen to the song after the jump.
Hello my favorites. I know it has been ages since I posted here. I decided to take a long break to rejuvenate and give you the best of the latest music information to hit the circuit.
I hope 2014 is making dreams come true and I also hope you are still grinding and hustling. You will make it happen. From now on, I will keep posts coming. You can expect music news, singles and album reviews. I will try to post on a daily basis depending on my school schedule. Let’s ROCK.. Thanks again. God bless
Two of the most powerful pop forces have released their much anticipated singles just hours apart. Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ was released on its scheduled date, 13 August and it has since soared its way up to clock the top spot on the US iTunes chart. On the other hand, Lady GaGa’s ‘Applause’ saw an emergency release after Low Quality snippets of the song surfaced online.
It was a smart move GaGa made, because it would have killed the buzz should she have waited for its initial release date, 19 August. ‘Applause’ is currently #3 on the iTunes chart, just slightly behind Robin Thicke’s monstrous jam, ‘Blurred Lines’.
This is a vicious chart contest as both artists have massive fan base and an impressive previous chart runs. Who will emerge victorious? On the contrary, who will outsell who? Truly speaking, chart peaks are nothing to go by. Longevity is KEY.
Last night, twitter was in chaos after Mother Monster announced that her single will be released a week ahead of its scheduled date.
‘Applause’ is a very nice song, but not as catchy as most of her singles, but its a definite grower. The vocal runs are amazing and clear, but the production is very lackluster in a way. I hope her album has better songs than this one. But who are we to judge? We are just bloggers, right? The single is currently top 5 on the US iTunes just hours after its release.
‘Applause’ is lifted from Lady GaGa’s forthcoming album, ‘ArtPop’ set for release on 11 November. You can listen here.
The ‘Prism’ era has officially launched, though it’s earlier than expected. Last night, Katy Perry’s latest single, ‘Roar’ surfaced online ahead of its scheduled date.
The song is so Katy Perry and there’s nothing groundbreaking about it. The verses are weak, but the chorus makes up for it. The highlight of the song has to be the ad-libs on the last chorus. She really pulled that one effortlessly.
It is a very catchy cut like any of her songs and it was made for radio, which is Katy’s territory. This will definitely be a hit, but I’m hoping her follow up won’t be as basic. You can listen to ‘Roar’ on the link below.
While some artists have struggled to deliver the US National Anthem, Nicole Scherzinger served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nicole Scherzinger performed ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ at The Dodger vs The Yankees basketball game at the Dodgers Stadium, Wednesday night and it was amazing.
Her control was stunning and when she belts, I get goose bumps all over. Nicole is one of the most talented pop stars of this generation, but unfortunately her stunning vocals don’t transpire in her music. We need songs with breath taking pipes such as this one. Hopefully, this coming era, she will be serve.
Nicole is currently working on her second studio album slated for release in November. You can watch Nicole’s ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ performance here. Absolutely beautiful.
Selena Gomez has much course to celebrate this week as her debut album, ‘Stars Dance’ soared its way up to the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.
‘Stars Dance’ CLOCKED the top spot with over 95 000 copies sold it its first week. This is definitely an impressive feat and well deserved. This album is great and it can still spawn several hits to maintain the longevity on the chart. Congratulation Ms Gomez. You can read the album review here.
While Beyonce is leaving her fans panting for new music, Katy Perry and Lady GaGa’s fans are in for a treat. In latest news, Katy Perry has geared to release her forthcoming album, ‘Prism’.
‘Prism’ is slated for release on 10.22.13 and it was revealed in an unusual viral campaign. The album’s details were put on the side of a Golden lorry, which was spotted in LA on Monday.
She confirmed it on twitter that it is indeed the album’s title. No single has been announced yet. It seems like the last quarter of the year will end with a BANG!!!
Will ‘Prism’ match up to its predecessor, ‘Teenage Dream’, which spawned 5 #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart? Only time can tell.
After a successful wave with Selena Gomez and The Scene, Selena took out “The Scene” in pursue of her debut solo effort, “Stars Dance”. The album has so far spawned a hit single, ‘Come & Get It’. Selena has enlisted some of the hot and current record producers in the business, such as The Cataracs, Toby Gad, Rock Mafia and the Norwegian producer, StarGate. The album is infused with pop, electronic, dance and dubstep. Below is a track by track review.
This song is very unusual and the production is very different to what’s on the radios today. It has an insanely catchy hooks and a monstrous sound. The vocals are on point and it is something you wouldn’t expect at all. A great song to open a record.
This is a Cataracs produced cut and it has elements of dubstep and it will definitely take you straight to the dance floor. It is catchy, the lyrics are fun and the whole production just hits the nail. It was released as promotional single weeks before the album was released and thus far, it has peaked at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100 based on Digital sales alone.
In most cases, title tracks are the songs people look out for, before an album gets released and it has to be epic. Guess what? ‘Stars Dance’ is nothing short of that. The production is sizzling; it has a dark, spine chilling and a pleasant feel. The vocals just blend in and everything is just well put. This mid-tempo cut is definitely the highlight of the album, on the contrary, one of the best pop songs to ever surface in a long time. Stunning record .
‘Like A Champion’
Another great one, this song is very Rihanna-sque, it’s reminiscent to ‘Man Down’. It’s like a happier version of it. Either way, it is an amazing song and I can see it being a smash single. It is catchy, inspiring and a breeze of fresh sound. The island feel to it makes it outstanding. Definitely one of the best highlights of the album.
‘Come & get It’
This Ester Dean and StarGate-penned cut is the first single from the album and it was a smash, peaking at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is definitely one of Stargate’s best produced songs yet. The production is infused with tribal melodies and the hooks are haunting. One of the best songs on the record.
After the tracklist surfaced, I anticipated this track so much. I thought the title alone is interesting enough, but I was in for a disappointment. The uptempo cut is a let-down and there is nothing outstanding about it. It’s not horrid or excellent, but a good album filler.
“Save The Day’
A five-second snippet of this song surfaced two weeks prior to the album’s release and I knew this was going to be THEE SONG. This is a stellar cut and it’s another uptempo. Selena really did it with this one. It was love at first listen. The song starts off slow and builds up to an amazing, breath-taking chorus. The break down is EVERYTHING. It has to be a future single. I just wish she had ad-libs during the last chorus, but it’s alright.
Yet, another uptempo and this one is pretty great as well. It is infused with electronic synths, but it’s nowhere near generic. It holds its own and the bass is heart throbbing and the clubs will eat this one up. Though is sounds in line with The Cataracs’ ‘Bass Down Low,’ it’s still an amazing song
‘Write Your Name’
Selena is really bringing up the uptempos with this record and they are so consistent. This one also starts of real slow and climaxes to a crazy break down during the chorus. The production is weird, in a good way. It reminds me of Lady gaga’s ‘Scheibe’, especially the rhymes after the bridge. She can release this one to end the ‘Stars Dance’ era. Great song.
This one is a dance song and it is club ready. It’s fast paced during the chorus with heavy electronic synths. The pre-chorus is pretty stellar and when the beat kicks in during the chorus, it’s insane.
‘Love Will Remember’
This song is the closest to a ballad, but it’s not one. The song starts in a piano-laced production and builds into a mid-tempo. It’s a solid track and it is different, which is why it is tolerable. I don’t see it as a single material, but the chorus is moderately catchy.
‘Nobody Does it Like You’
This one is a bit generic by a small margin, but Selena’s sweet vocals make it work. The cut also has the elements of dubstep after the chorus which helps it stretch far from the full blown generic mess we have been hearing. It is a decent album closer.
This record goes from uptempo to uptempo, which makes it outstanding I have never experience a full pop album without a ballad in between, which is a risk. It maybe lacklustre to those ballad lovers, but that doesn’t take away its epicenes. This former Disney lad has really stepped it up and ventured into a more adult-orientated pop culture. A Great solo debut Ms Gomez.
It seems Jennifer Lopez can’t get enough of Pitbull and RedOne. Returning not only once or twice, but three times with the same collaborators to the music scene, J.LO serves up a brand new single ‘Live It Up’.
Off her yet to be titled album, the Pitbull assisted cut is a definite club banger and it will take you straight to the dance floor. It doesn’t stray much from RedOne’s previous material, but the hooks are amazing and the chorus is charismatic.. The song is infused with hard hitting synths and a very generic breakdown. It is thunderous and fun, but very subpar with her previous hits, ‘Dance Again’ and ‘On The Floor’, which are both produced by RedOne and feature Pitbull.
The song is nothing special, it just lacks the distinctiveness it needs to stand out. I wonder how Jenny’s album is going to be like after it was reported that she has signed with RedOne’s 2101 label. He’s is notorious for his “non evolutionary” production which sound the same. I hope there’s going to be some urban killer tracks on Jennifer’s LP. I love RedOne’s production, but he can be too much sometimes.
She was the driving force of the best digital selling girl group of all time, the 80th most successful musical act of the 2000s with 52 Million records sold worldwide. Nicole Scherzinger was on top of her game with her sexy kitten outfits and slick choreography, spawning hit after hit with The Pussycat Dolls. She went on to score her first solo Top 10 single on the Billboard Hot Top 100 with ‘Come To Me’ featured by P. Diddy. Later, she decided to put the Dolls aside for her first solo effort “Her Name Is Nicole and surprisingly, every single released tanked on the charts. The label shelved the entire project.
Four years later, she finally released her long awaited debut album in the UK and selected European markets, ‘Killer Love’ which served three top 3 singles on the UK Singles Chart. The album opened at #8 on UK Album Chart and it hasn’t sold a quarter of what she sold with the Dolls. Now we wonder why Nicole hasn’t been as successful with her solo efforts. Here are some of the reasons why I think she’s struggling as a solo artist…
· Material – Her music is subpar with the rest. It’s generic and sounds like carbon copies of other artist’s records. She doesn’t have her own sound, all she does is take what is on the radios and mash it up to get that hit. The only outstanding singles are her most successful, being ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath‘ and 50Cent assisted, ‘Right There’. Nicole needs to be distinctive and daring because what she is pulling now, ain’t cutting it.
· Management – does not invest in her solo efforts as much as they did when she was with the Dolls. Her singles are promoted randomly and it confuses the audience. They keep pushing her single release dates or canceling them numerous times except for ‘Killer Love’, making the public lose interest. I still don’t understand why ‘Her Name Is Nicole’ was never released. I believe that album was more of her forte, because I honestly think Nicole is an urban artist, not a pop girl.
· Timing – Nicole’s timing is very awful. She just won’t catch a break. For instance, when she was a judge on the US X Factor, her flawless ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ was her current single in the US and she did not use the platform to perform and do promo for it. Instead she performed a random song ‘Pretty’ which was AMAZING by the way. The general public loved it and it was actually the only time Nicole got great raves with her material. But guess what? The song never got to see the light of the day. Whether the track will feature on her upcoming album or not, we will see.
· Brand – Nicole doesn’t have a specific brand and I think it is what makes superstars what they are. For example, Rihanna’s brand is the “cocky/bad chick”, Taylor Swift is the “America’s Sweetheart”, Ke$ha is the “Dirty pop girl” and so forth. Someone on the UKmix music forum said Nicole would fit the “Sexy/Dirty Urban girl” and I agree. That’s exactly what The Dolls were and “Whatever U Like” was a perfect example of that, but she took a completely different direction and she got lost in the crown.
· Talent – Many people didn’t know that Nicole is a classically trained singer who has amazing vocal pipes. But her songs are missing those vocals and it frustrates many. Her sloppy pop songs are meaningless and they alienate her from success even more. She is 34 years old and I think she should sing Celine Dion type of songs as I believe they would suit her vocal range more. Her latest single, ‘Boomerang’ does nothing, I think ‘Poison’ is much stronger.
Nicole is beautiful, amazing vocalist, strong sex appeal, great dancer, songwriter and she has all the qualities, if not more of what these successful pop girls have. If she gets THAT single that screams NICOLE SCHERZINGER and not Lady Gaga meets Rihanna, I think she can pull off some success in the US. As much as I love her, she’s a Jack of all trades, but as master of none. That’s Just My Two cents.
Though some may have experienced disappointing chart performances, there are others who reigned. Rihanna and Pink, both scored their first #1 album of their career. Rihanna’s ‘Unapologetic’ pushed 238 000 units in its first week and locked the #1 spot after seven attempts, thus marking her album the biggest debut of her career after LOUD with just 207 000 copies.
Pink on the other hand managed to push 281 000 copies in her first week with ‘The Truth About Love’. That’s quite an impressive feature for these two artists. I thought they would never get to see that happen, especially after so many attempts. In other news, ‘The Truth About Love’ has been certified platinum in the US for shipping over 1 million copies.. Kudos to her.
Some artists made a breakthrough and some took a step back in solidifying their music careers. Unfortunately for Nelly Furtado and Tulisa, they had a disappointing, let alone embarrassing numbers for their albums.
Nelly’s “The Spirit Indestructible” opened with just a mere 6 000 copies, debuting at #79 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. That’s just horrible. To think how I was surprised when Ciara’s “Basic Instinct” opened with 32 000, this is surreal. On the other hand, N-Dubz songtress, Tulisa’s “The Female Boss” opened with 15 000 copies, landing her at #35 in her native country’s chart, the UK Album Chart and #55 in Ireland.
What is astonishing about Tulisa is the fact that she had the X Factor UK to use as a platform for promotion, but unfortunately, the public payed dust to her efforts. What worked against Nelly is the opposite of Tulisa’s situation, lack of promotion. She had inconsistent promo for the album. I, for one did not know when the album was going to be released. Tulisa had all the promo, just people were not buying to it and again, the fact that the album was slammed with some awful reviews made people wary.
None of these albums are as bad as people make them out to be. They are quite enjoyable and fresh, but an opinion is an opinion. Anyway, here’s hoping that these two artists will find some success during their next era.
Khaya Mthethwa emerged victorious at this year’s Idols season 8 and adding to that, he was the first black contestant to triumph the competition.
Khaya is probably the most popular Idols winner and in trusting that his popularity will help to push album sales, he better deliver some good material(not saying he isn’t though). Relying on his fan base alone, can cost him dearly.
Khaya’s debut album, “For You” is out at your nearest music outlet or you can buy it digitally on iTunes store.
2012 has been an eventful year, music wise. We saw some breath-taking music stories to, well, disastrous ones. Overall, all of those made this year what it is.
As of today, I will be posting about the highlights that stunned the music headlines and the unusual ones. I may have posted some during the course of the year and some I did not because of the little time I had. Hope you will enjoy.
Update: The Recap 2012 posts may not be published in a chronological order.
After her commercially disappointing album, ‘Bionic’, the vocal powerhouse returns to the music circuit with her highly anticipated brand new album, ‘Lotus’. ‘Lotus’ has a mixture of pop, R&B and Hip Hop elements and Christina’s vocals soar through each and every track. This album has the most commercial sound from all of her predecessors.
She brought all of her heavy artillery when enlisting the top producers for the record from Alex Da Kid, Max Martin to Busbee. The review is below….
‘Lotus’ is a flower which resembles purity, enlightenment and new beginnings. The Alex Da Kid– produced cut sees the pop belle singing about becoming a new person and growing from her past while she floats over a heavy Hip Hop production. Great album opener, but the auto-tune is kind of a let down.
‘Army Of Me’
Christina is no stranger to empowering anthems and she puts them well.. ‘Army Of Me’ is exactly that. As most reviews stated, it does reminisce ‘Fighter’, but not as good. The ad-lips on the last chorus are just amazing. It is a great uplifting song.
‘Red Hot Kinda Love’
Now this is the cutest song on the album. It is fun, catchy and club-ready. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets a single treatment, Fresh and not generic. ‘Baby, I’m burning up, you got that Red Hot Kinda Love’… OH yes Aguilera baby!!!! LIFE has been given.
‘Make The World Move’ (ft. Cee Lo)
The first time I took a glimpse at the album’s tracklist, the song I anticipated the most was this one, but unfortunately was in for a disappointment. The song is not horrible, just the production is all over the place and it sounds messy. It starts off cute, but the moment the chorus kicks in, it is a noisy mess. It features her co-judge, Cee Lo Green and he did nothing to the song. Definitely the weakest song on the record.
This is the first single from the album and I have to say, they did choose well as it is one of the best songs on the album. Its catchy, naughty, memorable and fun. Max Martin really did make magic with this one. Once again, the ad-libs are amazing. “I think you already Know my name” as she belts, gives chills all over.
“Let There Be Love”
The very first moment I heard the song, I just knew from its intro until it climaxed to a heavy dance beat that its probably another one of the best songs on the album and I was absolutely right. Aguilera went hard with this cut. Its infectiously catchy and addictive, probably the most commercial song on the album. I love how sentimental it is and yet a club anthem. A rare combination indeed, though the song is generic as hell, but Christina’s vocals soared the song apart and definitely making it an outstanding cut. Just amazing.
‘Sing For Me’
Ballads are Christina’s forte and she roars every time she belts out those notes. The song starts off slow as she tones it with low-register until the chorus, where she literally sings her heart out about pain and not caring about how the world thinks of how she sounds. So ironic. But its beautiful song and truly powerful.
Another powerful ballad follows and it sees the vocal prowess reminding the world why she is regarded as the ‘Voice Of This Generation”. She sings about emptiness, forgiveness and waiting for life to start… “Draw me a smile and save me tonight, I’m Blank Page, waiting for you to bring me back to life” as she soars through the piano-laced cut. The cut is penned by Sia and it would make a perfect single. And Those vocals, DAMN Chrissie.
One of Alex’s produced songs and it has a military kind of a feel to it, not surprising considering the title of the song. ‘Cease Fire’ is basically about making peace and not wasting time on unnecessary things and being free. It is a powerful anthem and she did not disappoint at all. The thundering production blends with her vocals. Making an extraordinary cut. Epic!!!!!
‘All Around The World’
Alex Da Kid did not play with this one as it is one of the outstanding songs on the album. The song is catchy and the heavy production makes the song flawless. Lyrics are sexy. I mean… “We can talk dirty in different language ”Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir”.. GIRL!!! What kinda epicness???? and everything just blends in. The Clubs will eat this one up…
Every time I listen to this cut, I can’t help but laugh. I mean who else can curse in such a flawless manner? “Spin around in Circles on my middle, middle finger.” NOT Chrissie going in on haters, telling them to grow the f**k up. Its a cute song, but the production on the chorus is slightly annoying. The verses are epic though.
Best Of Me
Back to an uplifting ground as she soars with a guitar and drums driving cut. it is mainly about staying strong after being kicked out and trying your level best to stay afloat and remaining undefeated.”I will rise undefeated, you will never let you bring me down”. Beautiful, bold and empowering. However, the song sounds redundant to one of her songs on the album.. Still, the message makes the song come alive.
Just A Fool (with Blake Shelton)
This is a duet with her other The Voice fellow co-judge, Blake Shelton. Most reviewers slammed this song for falling out if place and I disagree with this. The song is amazing and its miles better than the mess she did with Cee Lo. Its flawless and about to crack the Top 10 on the US iTunes. So, it won’t make any sense if they don’t push it as her second single.
‘Light Up The Sky’
Yet another inspirational song, but still redundant, but it is not much of a surprise. Alex Da Kid produced most of the songs, so in most cases, it was expected though I feel it makes artist slaughtered by critics.
I couldn’t have asked for a better closing song. THIS is probably the best.. WAIT!! Not probably, it is the BEST song on the album. Powerful, strong, catchy, sentimental, encouraging, empowering, flawless and it hits instantly. The song reinforces being strong enough to withhold your own and not let anything put you down for whatever reason. Busbee never cease to disappoint. If this doesn’t become a single, then I will know how stupid her record label is.
With no patch to her previous albums, ‘Lotus’ tries. ‘Stripped’, ‘Back To Basics’ and ‘Bionic’ still remain far superior from this one. As how will the album fair on the charts, it is still to be determined..
Overall Score 3.5/5
The way Kat DeLuna is underrated makes me seethe and its frustrating as hell. A new record of hers surfaced and well, the results are……………………………………. EPIC!!!!!
The song is monstrous and catchy, from vocals to production. Dominican bomb shell features her long time collaborator, Busta Rhymes and OH! BOY!!! Did they serve the song. This era, Kat has been providing some hot material. Her first single, ‘Drop It Low’ is amazing and it did very poor chart wise. Failing to chart almost every country.
I love how she never discard her latin flavored songs. They truly show how far she has come with her sound. The club-ready anthem sees Kat soaring throughout the chorus and providing cute rap verses on the hooks, whilst the catchy beat just makes everything blend in and Busta Rhymes delivered a stella verse, but I do feel Kat’s ad-libs towards the end could’ve been stronger. Sometimes its hard to believe how vocally talented and how of an incredible dancer she is.
The cut is lifted from the singer’s latest recording sessions of her forthcoming album, ‘Viva Out Loud’ set to be released in 2013. You can take a listen here.
She’s BACK and raw as ever. Eve’s new single ‘She Bad Bad’ just premiered a few hours ago and its nothing short of amazing. The production goes hard and the lyrics are on point. ‘She Bad Bad’ sees E-V-E spitting shots about her comeback in the game over a thunderous beat.
The verses are fire and the bass is heart throbbing. This is Eve’s forte and I love the fact that she did not jump on the bandwagon like many of her peers have just to get ‘that hit song’. However, the hook is kind of annoying. The Nigerian-ish accent ‘Oh She Bah Bah, Oh She Bah Bah’ is a bit over the top, but everything else is pure perfection.
It’s so refreshing to hear her again. She still goes hard as the Eve we have grown to know. But will it encounter success? With the current trends going on, it is really hard to tell. The JukeBox produced cut is out on iTunes and it is lifted from the Emcee’s forthcoming album, ‘LipLock’. No dates has been announced regarding the album’s release.
I can already see clubs BOPPING to this.
After weeks and weeks of tension, drama and heartaches, we finally have our winner for Idols season 8. Khaya Mthethwa took the title against the runner-up, Melissa Allison and he is the first black individual in the history of South African idols to reign.
All the best to him and may he crop the success he deserves. Melissa on the other hand, will go far as well. Amazing voice, body and looks which basically makes what most pop stars are today. It is not the end of the road, Lloyd is living proof of that. We are looking forward to hearing their material.
This is a crucial time to cast your vote for your next South Africa Idol. It has been quite a rough weeks as the contestants battled to be the best and well, the outcome? Khaya Mthethwa and Melissa Allison are the remaining contestants and they will tear it out to the end in just a couple of hours.
Melissa and Khaya have both strengths and weaknesses as performers. Khaya has a strong, powerful voice and it blends in with every genre he takes on. Melissa on the other hand, is an all round performer. She can sing and dance at the same time, which is very commendable. Only few artists are capable of pulling it off without lip-synching through the entire performance. But her vocals are not as strong as Khaya’s and she more of a pop belle than anything else.
With that being said, it is in the hands of South Africa to see who will be the reigning champ. Check out their voting details below:
Khaya: sms 08 to 37400
Melissa: sms 07 to 37400
Alternatively, you can vote online or via Mxit. Voting closes tomorrow at 22h00. Good luck to both of them.
With the finale literally being just five days away, the competition is getting stiffer. Monde was eliminated from the Top 3, leaving Khaya and Melissa to go head-to-head this coming weekend for the grand price.
This comes after his performances on Sunday. The contestants performed three songs each and Monde got mixed criticism from all the performances and I think that is what worked against him. But what I don’t get is the hate for Melissa. People are adamant about her leaving the competition, but they never seem to care for their favourites. I mean some went as far as saying she doesn’t have a good voice. I mean what’s that?
Everyone deserves the top spot. All of them, the way Melissa is being treated is not fair at all. It reminds me of season six where everyone wanted Sindi out of the competition. People need to re-evaluate themselves and I am dead serious.
Khaya and Melissa will battle it out at the finale for the grand price. The voting lines are open until the 1st of October. Check out the voting details below.
To vote for Melissa, sms ’07’ to 37400
To vote for Khaya, Sms ’08’ to 37400 or alternatively, you can vote via Mxit or on the idols website.
The finals are closing in and emotions are running high. Tonight, Tshidi was voted off the competition after the ‘Home Brew’ theme this past Sunday. The vocal powerhouse kicked off her first performance with a sultry infused ‘Ndawo Yami’ by Zama jobe and FreshlyGround’s hit ‘Doo Be Doo’.
When reaching this stage of the competition, there is no telling who is going home. The pressure and anxiety hit hard. Coming from a Top 4 of a show of this magnitude, is really not that bad and I’m sure Randall will be happy to sign her on. Many blessings and her future endeavors.
Now its down to Monde, Melissa and Khaya. Who will take the prize? Time will definitely tell.

Music heavyweights will be going head-to-head this coming week for the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. Pink’s album, ‘The Truth About Love’ is coinciding with Kanye West’s ‘Cruel Summer’ release on September 18th.
Both artists are phenomenal in their respective genres and they have been in the game for quite some time now. ‘The Truth About Love’ spawned hit single ‘Blow Me (Last Kiss)’ and ‘Cruel Summer’ is preceded by ‘Mercy’ featuring Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz. These songs have done very well on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, peaking within the Top 20.
This is going to be interesting indeed. So many aspects to point out from these artists. And to be honest, Pink and Kanye are more alike than we think. Both rebellious and always speaking their minds. Anyway, to be quite frank, it does not look good for Pink. Kanye West has always been known as the massive first week seller.
His previous, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ shifted 496 000 in its first week, where as Pink’s ‘Funhouse’ managed to push 180 000 in 2008. However, I have heard Pink’s album and it is epic. Every single track stands out and its consistent and solid. The sales projection will be in before Friday. This is going to be a mean battle. All I know is, ‘The Truth About Love’ will sell gradually and it will definitely surpass Mr West in the long run.
Simphiwe bit farewell to his fellow contestants yesterday during the Live results show. This past Sunday saw the top 5 soaring the Rolling Stones’ Top 500 Greatest Songs of all times theme.
Simphiwe kicked his first round with a Bob Marley classic “No Woman No Cry” and toned down round two with ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ by Bonnie Raitt. Randall criticized him of over singing both songs. In fact, he said that to all the contestants and I do think he can be a little harsh sometimes. Anyway, with everything being said, there is no denying that Simphiwe is an amazing vocalist and I am sure any renowned record company is ready to snatch him anytime.
The finale is closing in and it is about to get messy.
My apologies for this late post, I had serious problems with connections to my blog. Your patience is appreciated.
My jaw is still on the floor after tonight’s Idols results. I’m in disbelief. Shekhinah has been voted out of the competition following her performance on Sunday night. The vocal prowess took on Britney Spears’ hit ‘Til The World Ends’ and the performance was everything and more.
Shekhinah could have easily leaped to Top 3, just that South Africa got it all wrong. What makes it even worse is the fact that the judges did not use their saving vote and we are already in the top 5. I mean, it does not make sense at all. All the contestants did an exceptional job on Sunday, but Shekhinah did not deserve to exit the show. Oh well, What’s next?
I am not saying this because I am a fan, I’m just stating the obvious. I mean look at last year’s season, they managed to save Chloe and that caused Erin, Big time. There was no denying that she had a more powerful vocals than Chloe. This is surreal. Just Wow.
After surviving the bottom three for numerous times, it was quite obvious that Dominic was on his way out of the competition. The contestants were backed by the incredible Drakenberg Boys Choir and they sang their hearts out to South Africa.
Dominic chose Coldplay’s Paradise and he received the same criticism from the judges and they agreed that he was going to see himself in the bottom three, AGAIN. Along with Melissa and Simphiwe, Dominic was the one to receive the least amount of votes amongst the three of them, making him to depart the competition. The judges decided not to use their one and only save for the season. All the best to him. You can catch the Show Stopper theme episode this coming Sunday at 17h30 on M-Net or Mzansi Magic.
Just as I reported, Taylor’s ‘We Are Never Ever Getting better Together’ soared 71 spots to top the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, marking her first #1 single on the chart. Since its release last week, the song has been destroying radio airplay. Its Mediabase update was lingering around a staggering +10 Million audience impression daily.
Adding to such an outrageous feat, the song moved 623 000 Copies on its debuting week, CLOCKING the biggest digital sales week ever for a song by a female artist and tallies second overall after Flo-Rida’s “Right Round”. The reigning digital Queen will perform the song Live at the 2012 MTV Music Video Awards on September 6. I am sure the song will stay atop of the chart for several weeks after the performance.
‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ serves as her first single from her forthcoming album, “Red” out October, 22.
If this isn’t soaring, then I honestly don’t know. Lol
Idols keeps brewing some seriously weird events. I don’t know if its luck or what, but Dominic managed to survive not only once or twice, but three times from the bottom three. It clearly shows how much South Africa is rooting for him.
Unfortunately for Chloe, her journey on Idols came to an end. On Sunday night, she belted “Never Tear Us Apart” by INXS, which she did well in my opinion. But it was not enough to pour her the votes she needed to advance to top 7. Chloe is one of those people who would easily fit the pop world. She has the “it” factor, pity South Africa was unable to pick it out.
Anyway, with that vocal power and charisma, scoring a record deal won’t be such a drag. Well, I hope. Good luck to her.
After Ciara disappointed me by stalling to surface her impatiently awaited single “Sorry”, Leona Lewis totally made up for that. She has premiered her new single, which feature rapper Childish Gambino and it is produced by Naughty Boy.
The song has a dark atmosphere and it serves emotional verses. I love it. Its something fresh from what Leona has done in her previous efforts. Lyrics are superb and the melody is haunting. Gambino’s rapping verse totally takes the song to another level. Many people think it does not go hard enough to be single material. Well, in my opinion, I disagree. Recent charts are topped by generic music and it gets utterly boring.
Music sounds the same these days, it’s as if the producers recycle and pass on to other artists This song is fresh enough to soar hard and her team needs some intense promotion to get it off the ground. The cut is slated for release on the 7th October and X Factor UK will be airing its live shows. She might perform there to coincide with its release, which is the smart thing to do.
The Emeli Sande penned cut is lifted from her upcoming forth studio album, ‘Glassheart’ out 14th October.
Ciara is about to hit us with a brand new single within the next few hours and she has started by enticing us with its stunning artwork.
It evokes vulnerability from where I’m standing and though I said releasing a ballad may work against her, I believe she can pull it off. I really hope its fresh and not generic.
“One Woman Army” is going to be one album to remember. Hope all goes well for this talented girl. I will keep you in the loop.
